Our Story
Green Heaven Funerals - Your Choice Your Way.
Providing a modernised Chinese Funeral without forgetting our roots.
Umm, where to start… Well, our journey at Green Heaven Funerals began quite simply, around a table with good friends in Australia. We’re a group of women, each of us carrying our Asian heritage and a certain youthful spirit despite our years. As we sipped our tea and shared stories, we realised how traditional funerals often overlook the vibrant lives or the values of our generation.
Inspired by the traditional Chinese principle of 承傳 (chén chuán) — the passing of traditions and legacies—we set out to bridge generations. We wanted to infuse funeral services with personal touches that reflect modern lifestyles while honouring deep-rooted cultural insights. Today, embracing green and sustainable practices is not just trendy—it’s essential for the future. For those of us with Chinese or multicultural heritage, being environmentally friendly comes naturally. We’ve always been taught to be frugal. Growing up, our parents would remind us, ‘every grain is hard-earned,’ instilling in us the importance of not wasting food. This principle extends beyond our dinner tables. Our parents worked hard to save and pass on their wealth, hoping to leave behind a better foundation for the next generation. This commitment to conservation and looking forward reflects a core value in our culture: caring for tomorrow by valuing what we have today. Is it the hope for a “greener future” ?
In life, we cherish the freedom to choose our paths, to celebrate our heritage, and to live according to our values. “Your Choice, Your Way” embodies this freedom, extending it with grace into farewells we craft. It’s about honouring the duality of life — the joy of living and the dignity in saying goodbye.
At Green Heaven Funerals, we will guide you the way for a tribute that’s true to the spirit of your loved one and gentle on the environment. Join us in crafting farewells that are as much a celebration of life as they are a commitment to a greener tomorrow.

Our Commitment
Leaving a legacy made easy
'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'
Inspired by the Chinese principles of benevolence (仁, rén) and righteousness (义, yì), our mission is to extend generosity beyond our business, directly into our communities.
We are feeling so blessed to commit to donating 10% of our profits to Make-A-Wish Australia, we are not only practicing these ancient virtues but also enriching the lives of children facing critical illnesses. Through our contributions, we strive to foster a legacy of generosity and to create a greener, more sustainable future for the next generation. Together, we are making a profound difference, one wish at a time.
Our Value
Wanna play hard then you need to work hard!
Life’s short. We grind with all we’ve got and then chill hard. It's all about making big waves at work so we can surf the good times with our loved ones. We’re all about that epic balance.
Have you added any value today?
Straight to the point. No room for nonsense. We're all about keeping it real and letting individual talents shine. Make everyday count and meaningful by adding value even a little bit.
Do NOT B#s*¥%@ customers
In our house, customers are the lifeblood to our company, even when they’re off the throne. We're from an Asian hood where their trust is our foundation; their satisfaction, our commitment. Even when we navigate challenges, we ensure our clients feel heard and esteemed.
Be open minded, the world is bigger than you can imagine
Sky is the limit, and here we are to play and dream big. We keep our minds open and our ideas fresh. Dreaming big, daring boldly, because the world’s way too vast for small plays
Be real, be free, be you!!
but on leash
We ride the wave of modern freedom and we value heavily on it, staying true to ourselves without going off the leash. We express our minds and stand our ground, but always with respect. It’s about being authentic and free, yet considerate and connected.
